All prefer warm temperatures above 50°F.
Placement Suggestions in Your Home:
South to South Eastern light exposure - bright but not direct light
Cut orchids
Cut the orchids stems at a sharp angle and place in vase
Add flower preservatives or a pinch of salt and sugar in the water
Change the water after every three days to promote maximum shelf life
Air plants
Water your plant when you first receive it - by soaking for 20-30 minutes
Allow your plant to dry upside down so water does not collect in the leaves
Mist plant every 4-5 days
Indirect sunlight is best and some grow in low to moderate light
If using a Glass Terrarium, do not place your globes directly in front of a window where they get direct sun. *Remember the glass will intensify the sunlight and the heat*
Lucky Bamboo
Arrange Lucky Bamboo in your vase or pot, base of the stalk(s) into the rock to keep secure
Add water so it is about 1/2 and inch above the roots
Change the water at least once a week to prevent rotting
Keep your plant out of direct sunlight, and in a bright open area
Tips:
Lucky Bamboo grows best in temperatures between 65°F and 90°F
Rinse your vase, pebbles, and plant every time you water
